Alan T. Skory

ALAN T. SKORY, age 77, of Bedford Heights passed away peacefully on March 5, 2024. He was a loving son, brother, uncle and cousin. Alan was preceded in death by his parents, Ted and Pauline Skory. He was the dear brother of JoAnn Harper (deceased) and Marie Skory Ingalls; beloved uncle of Tom (Jennifer) Harper, Jeffrey Ingalls (Jennifer Snyder), Jennifer (Jason) Shultz and Jessica Fairchild. Alan was a 1965 graduate of Bedford High School. He ran the Shipping and Receiving Department for Overbeck Cain (a now closed corporation in Warrensville Hts.) until he left to help take care of his Father who had suffered a stroke. After that he looked after his Mother until her death in 2014. Alan enjoyed family holidays, seeing his favorite cousins, fishing, watching 1960’s old T.V. shows, and the perfect cup of tea. He taught us to enjoy the simple things in life. Friends and family received at ST. JOHN FUNERAL HOME, 923 BROADWAY AVE, BEDFORD (1 MILE WEST OF FORBES-BROADWAY EXIT OF I-271), SUNDAY, MARCH 10 from 2 P.M. – 5 P.M. followed by a service on Monday, March 11 at 10 A.M. Entombment at All Saints Cemetery, Northfield.
