Anna was a daughter, sister, niece, cousin, friend, speech-language pathologist, and volunteer. Helping others was at the center of Anna's life. She volunteered as a mentor to students at St. Thomas Aquinas, worked with Big Brothers Big Sisters, served at the Salvation Army Homeless Shelter, supported immigrant families, and traveled to Guatemala to continue her service work. As a healthcare professional, she brought that same giving spirit to the care of her patients every day. Anna even saved a life while working as a lifeguard. Anna was born in Elmhurst, Illinois and raised in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. She graduated from Chagrin Falls High School in 2017 and went on to attend the University of Cincinnati, where she earned both a Bachelor of Science degree and a Masters degree in speech-language pathology, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Anna loved being outdoors and staying active. She enjoyed rock climbing, volleyball, pickleball, and spending time in nature. People who knew Anna often described her as gentle, kind, resilient, funny, ambitious, humble, and always willing to help. To her siblings, Anna was the glue that held the family together and they cherished their time hiking with her. She was the person everyone could count on, the one who brought people together, and the one who always showed up when someone needed support. Anna is loved by her parents, Mark and Catherine Schneider; her siblings, Matthew, Emilia, and Rita; her aunts and uncles, Julia and Dave Keres, Mary Rensel and Bob Kosmides, John Rensel and Christopher Wigle, Dan Rensel, Gail Schneider, Mike and Cindy Schneider, Phil Schneider and Maggie Kuhn, and Kathy and Kevin Gerstenberger; and her cousins, Tessa, Sophia, Elise, James, Kate, Jack, DJ, Jeff, Katherine, Erik, Gabe, Andy, Amy, Aaron, Avery, and Abby. Anna was welcomed into heaven by her grandparents, Rita, Bob, Roberta, and Walt, and by her great-aunt Lois, who Anna lovingly helped care for during her final years. We will honor Anna's life on June 20, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Federated Church, 76 Bell Street, Chagrin Falls, Ohio. Family and friends are invited to stay for lunch at the church following the service. A private interment will take place after lunch. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to AMIS (Americans Making Immigrants Safe). www.amisohio.org. Anna's life was a gift to so many. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, service, and love that will continue to live on through the people she touched.
