Beloved husband of Dolores DiNero (deceased), devoted father of Lisa Sampson (Bill), Toni Donoghue (Pete); beloved grandfather of Andrea Nash (Jeb), Wesley Heginbotham (TJ), Hannah Burck (Shane). Proud great grandfather of Everett, Remi, Owen, Jameson, Avery, and Sophie.
Tony spent many years working with his father-in-law in the family business, Benny Pepe Sewer Construction. He then served as Service Director for the City of Euclid. He loved being the service director and he took great pride in delivering excellent services to the Euclid residents. Tony served in the US Army in the Korean War. He happily returned home to Cleveland where he lived the rest of his life. Tony deeply loved his family; family was everything to him. He loved being with his six great grandchildren, three granddaughters and their husbands along with his daughters and his sons-in-law. He enjoyed the frequent visits from his sister Eloise and other family from Arizona. He loved his wife, Dolores, deeply and missed her greatly since her passing 5 years ago.
In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations to Tunnels to Towers (t2t.org/donate/) or Scranton Road Bible Church (scrantonroad.org).
