Barbara Ann Cunnington

BARBARA ANN CUNNINGTON (nee Taylor) age 96 formerly of Hudson, Aurora, Twinsburg, and Chagrin Falls.  Beloved wife of the late Arthur Cunnington for 49 years; loving mother of Arthur (Gillian), Craig (Jill), and Richard Cunnington; dearest sister of the late Franklin (Charlyne) Taylor and late Bernice (James) Wells; cherished daughter of the late Joseph Franklin Taylor and the late Bernice Muriel (nee Keyser); beloved grandmother of Taylor, Cody, Kaitlin, Michael (Becca), Joseph (Mary) Lindy, Carly (Andrew), Jamie, Scott, Madison, and Torran Korman.  Barbara was born in Niagara Falls, NY.  She grew up in her early years in Malden, MA with close family ties with cousins.  She kept her Bostonian accent and perky personality throughout her days.  She moved to Cuyahoga Falls, OH when in her teens, where she was an amateur figure skater with the local skating club and competed nationally in her young years.  She married and spent years working as a secretary at Pittsburgh Steel in PA and Goodyear in Cleveland, OH, moving to Parma, OH in 1956.  With her husband Art, she settled in Hudson in 1966 to raise their three boys, enjoying many friends in the community.  Barbara was an avid local bridge player and worked at a small shop in town.  She enjoyed good health through most of her years.  She enjoyed classical and big band era music, entertaining family, friends, and decorating her home.  Also, like her children, Barbara always enjoyed her chocolate ice cream.
