CAROL L. KAINEC, age 84, of Bedford. Beloved wife of the late Bernard; loving mother of Jim (Baomei Zhao), Karen Kainec-Wheeler (late David Wheeler), Steve (Joyce), Bernie (Lisa), and Nancy (Rick) Hayden; dearest grandmother of Sarah Kainec, Stephanie Kainec (Corey Snyder), Rick Hayden III, Lauren Hayden, Zachary Wheeler, Jesse Wheeler, Emma Mc Clure (Mike), Stephen Kainec, Bernie Kainec III (Haleigh), Samantha Kainec, Charlie Kainec, and Natalie Kainec; dear great-grandmother of Arlo Snyder and Noe Snyder; devoted sister of Barbara Grauel, Sandy Stauffer and John King. As a mother of five at the age of 33, Carol graduated with a degree in nursing and became an RN. Carol had a rewarding and successful career working in the ICU at Brentwood (now South Pointe) Hospital. Carol was an avid reader and loved to travel, visiting most U.S. states and many countries. She was best known as the person who was always behind the camera. Many family members and friends were the lucky recipients of the pictures that Carol took and the beautiful scrapbooks she created. Friends and family are welcome to ST. JOHN FUNERAL HOME, 923 BROADWAY AVE, BEDFORD, OH 44146 ON SUNDAY, JUNE 8 FROM 5 P.M. – 7 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, June 9 at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, 340 Union St, Bedford, OH 44146 at 11 A.M. Burial to follow at Bedford Cemetery.
