Christine Backo (nee Kobasic), age 62, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2020. Born in Lorain, Ohio, Christine was a long-time bank manager in the Cleveland area, an active member of her parish, and counted upon by family and friends for her insightful advice. Dedicated to her family, and known for her extraordinarily kind and giving nature, she enjoyed traveling with her husband Richard and spending time with family and friends. Christine is survived by her loving husband Richard Backo, their children Joshua (Alisha), Jeremiah (Shana), and Leah. She was the caring sister to Pamela, I.H.M., David (Kathleen), Martin (deceased) (Mary), Edward (Beth), Richard (Jeanette), Robert (Deborah), and Dena. She was the beloved daughter of the late Edward and Katherine Kobasic. A celebration of Christine’s life will be held at a later date when circumstances permit at St. Monica’s Church in Garfield Heights.
