Darlene L. Bruncak

DARLENE L. BRUNCAK (nee Royski), beloved matriarch, devoted wife of Raymond; cherished mother of Michelle Pulliam and Raymond (Sue); grandmother of Paige (Nate) Pollatos, Ryan (Caitlyn) Bruncak, Rob Bruncak and the late Kevin Tiearney; great grandmother of 4. Darlene passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, May 3 at the age of 82. In her 63 years of marriage, Darlene continued to work full-time and her favorite employers were Elk & Elk Co., Ltd. and Thompson Hine LLP. After her retirement she took care of her late mother, Minnie Royski, of whom she adored until her passing at the age of 96 years old. She selflessly gave to those she loved. In her transition, her infectious personality won over her care team from Bella Hospice Care, of whom she came to love. Miss Echana, her nurse, worked tirelessly for her, and made sure she was there for Darlene even in the end, and was called her angel on earth. Tiffany, her aide, worked hard for Darlene’s day to day care and comfort. Family and friends will be received at ST. JOHN FUNERAL HOME, 923 BROADWAY AVE, BEDFORD (ONE-MILE WEST OF BROADWAY-FORBES EXIT) ON THURSDAY, MAY 8 FROM 2 P.M. – 7 P.M. with a closing service at 7 P.M. Interment will be private. Although flowers are appreciated, the family suggests donations to the Humane Society of Summit County, 752 West Portage Trail, Akron, OH 44313 in memory of Darlene.
