DR. HARRY T. “DOC” FAY, age 88, passed away peacefully on August 20, 2017 surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Elizabeth (nee Caswell) and the late Carol M. (nee Gulan); loving father of Jack (Debbie) Fay, Leslie (Sue) Fay, Julie (David) Ball, Mary (John) Baumgarten, Marty (Traci) Fay, Carrie (Derrick) Stewart, and David, Tom, Katie and the late Joey Roush; beloved grandfather of 18; dear brother of Helen Muller and Jeanne Petersen (both deceased). Veteran, U.S. Navy, Korean War. Harry practiced general dentistry in Solon for 40 years. Friends may call at ST. JOHN FUNERAL HOME, 16381 CHILLICOTHE ROAD (RT 306), CHAGRIN FALLS, 44023 (2.5 MILES NORTH OF RT. 422), THURSDAY 2 – 4 AND 6 – 8 P.M. where prayers will be held Friday, August 25 at 9:15 A.M. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joan of Arc Church, 496 East Washington Street, Chagrin Falls at 10 A.M. Burial at All Souls Cemetery, Chardon. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Abbey of Our Lady of Gethsemani, 3642 Monks Rd., Trappist, KY 40051 or to the Alzheimer’s Association.
