Edmund J. Kotowski, age 85 of Bedford. Beloved husband of Christine (nee Toth) for 45 years; loving father of Linda (Alex) Loychik, Linda (Greg) Vartorella, Laura (Dino) Lanovara, and David Wade; dearest grandfather of Tom (Stephanie) Verh, Steve (Jackie) Verh, and Ashley (Ray) Hornyak; dear great grandfather of Kayla, Ashton, Liberty, and Negan; cherished brother of the late David Kotowski and late Nancy Lesnak; treasured uncle to many. Eddie loved his family and friends. He enjoyed talking and telling stories of his “treasure hunting” and car cruises. He had a great sense of humor and could strike up a conversation with just about anyone. Eddie also enjoyed classic TV shows, which consisted of Laurel and Hardy, Barney Miller, and Sandford and Son. He loved to attend bicycle shows and car cruises. At the car cruises, he was nicknamed “Fast Eddie.” Eddie celebrated 49 years of sobriety in 2025. Friends and family are welcome to St. John Funeral Home, 923 Broadway Ave, Bedford, OH 44146 on Sunday, January 25 from 4 P.M. – 6 P.M. with a closing service at 6 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, January 26 at St. Mary’s Church, 340 Union St, Bedford, OH 44146 at 10 A.M. Please no flowers at church.
