Edna Mae Franz

EDNA MAE FRANZ age 97 of Bedford passed away on April 29, 2025, at Vista Springs in Concord, OH. Edna was born in Cleveland, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Cecile (nee Lane) Franz; sister of the late Irene Glover and late Albert Franz; aunt, great aunt and great- great aunt. Edna received a degree from Dyke Spenserian College, John Carroll University and Ursuline College. She became a certified public accountant and worked for Squire, Sanders and Dempsey, Cleveland Transportation and General Electric Refractory Metals Plant as a corporate accountant. She was a long-time parishioner of Our Lady of Hope Church (formerly St. Pius X), active in senior groups, the Bedford Garden Club and Meals on Wheels. Interment will take place at a later date. The family would appreciate contributions made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 Saint Clair Ave, Cleveland, OH 44110 in memory of Edna.
