Glenn Vernon Blackburn

GLENN VERNON BLACKBURN, age 91, of Naples, Florida, formerly of Burton, Ohio, passed away on July 9, 2026. Cherished son of the late Esbond and Eva (nee Gleisinger) Blackburn; beloved husband of 32 years of the late Loretta (nee Arunski) Blackburn; loving stepfather of Daniel (Laura) Frate; dear grandfather of Christina (Andrew) Cribbs and Daniel (Chelsey) Frate; great grandfather of Gia, Serafina and Viviana; brother of the following deceased, Mildred Franklin, Ruby Henderson, and Harold Blackburn; uncle of Richard (Cheryl) Franklin, William (Judy) Franklin, Tom (Onalee) Henderson, and Susan (Roger) Rodhe. Glenn lived for a long time in Burton, Ohio and went on to have a long career in the plumbing profession in the Chagrin Falls area. He had converted to Catholicism of which he was very proud of. Family and friends are welcome to St. John Funeral Home, 16381 Chillicothe Rd., Chagrin Falls, OH 44023 on Thursday, July 16 from 4 P.M. – 7 P.M. followed by Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, July 17 at 10 A.M. at St. Helen Church, 12060 Kinsman Rd., Newbury Twp., OH 44065. Interment at All Souls Cemetery, Chardon, Ohio.
