Helen Francis Cheslock

HELEN FRANCIS CHESLOCK (nee Marusiak), age 105 of Bedford passed away on September 11, 2026. Loving wife of the late Bogus “Joe” Cheslock; loving mother of Joseph (Lynn), Carol (Jim) Kolenc, Margaret (Bill) Locktish, and Andrea (Bob) Prosek; cherished sister of Genevieve Murray; dearest grandmother of Adam, Jennifer, Erica, Melissa, Jordan, Jerad, Jonathon, and Sarah; dear great grandmother of Aidan, Nadia, Sidney, Auna, June, Brandon, Kaida, Violet, and Mia. Helen’s family was her first love. She had a devoted love for God and was grounded in her faith. She was an avid reader. Her growing years in PA and her strength gained from her large family through the years of war, and the Depression, fostered her generosity and kindness. Helen was a beautiful soul and an example of perseverance for all who knew her. Friends and family are welcome to St. John Funeral Home, 923 Broadway Ave, Bedford, OH 44146 on Sunday, September 20 from 3 P.M. – 7 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, September 21 at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 340 Union Street, Bedford, OH 4416 at 10:30 A.M (please meet at church and no flowers at church, please). Burial to follow at All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Salvation Army in memory of Helen.
