HELEN FRANCES “FRAN” TRAMONT (nee Gordy), age 58, of Bedford Hts., passed away July 30, 2021.  Beloved wife of Richard for 21 years; cherished daughter of Josephine (nee Davidson) and the late Newell Stanley Gordy; dearest sister of Joseph Stanley (Margaret) Gordy, Diane Ash, Beth Gordy and the late Newell Steven Gordy; loving stepmother of Adam (Liz) Tramont and Rabecca Tramont and step-grandmother of Catherine, Abel, Lilly, James and Rosalie.

Fran was an extremely compassionate and caring person very loved by all who knew her and had a great sense of humor. She worked for many years managing group homes for adults with intellectual and physical disabilities. Rather than calling them patients or clients she called them friends.

Fran enjoyed police procedural shows and shows like Chicago Fire. Born and raised in Alexandria Virginia, she was a Southern Gal (her words) that loved music and surrounded herself with it at all times, especially Country, Bluegrass, Southern and Classic Rock. Greg Allman was her favorite singer.

Fran also had a deep love of animals and we always have had multiple pets underfoot, most of them rescue animals.

In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family suggests contributions to the World Wildlife Fund or the Paws and Prayers Organization.
