Jacqueline Carol Hallack

January 29, 1941 — March 23, 2024

Jacqueline “Jackie” Carol Hallack (nee Slabe), 83, passed away peacefully in her home on March 23, 2024. She is survived by her loving husband, John Hallack, children Dana (nee Hallack) Vaselaney (John), John Hallack (Marlene), and Dale (nee Hallack) Doherty. She was the loving grandmother of Sarah (nee Vaselaney) Zolnowski (Michael), Ryan Doherty (Tessa), Alex Doherty, John Hallack, Hannah Vaselaney, Julia Hallack, and Jack Vaselaney, and was a fond sister, aunt, and great aunt to many.

Jackie and John would have been married 65 years this year. Their marriage was truly a remarkable testament of their deep love and mutual respect for each other. They enjoyed entertaining, cooking, the theatre, and traveling the globe together which included an African safari trip. Jackie had impeccable taste and great sense of style enabling her to bring beauty to their home and everything she did. She enjoyed gardening, scrapbooking, volunteer work, and was Vice President of J.H. Industries. But her favorite past time was spending time with her grandchildren. Affectionately known as “Grammie”, she made time to give each grandchild their own “special days” filled with fun activities. Her and John attended many of their grandchildren’s school and sporting events and always wanted to be kept ‘in the loop’ about their grandchildren’s lives.
