James H. “Jack” Frampton III                       July 20, 1971 – May 26, 2020

Jack Frampton, 48, went to be with the Lord on May 26, 2020.  He was the beloved husband of Brooke (Bjorson) for 20 years; loving father of Maxwell, Harrison and Baer; cherished son of James H. Jr. and B.J. (DeRosa) Frampton; dearest brother of Martha (Dan) Cuckovich, Mathew (Alicia) Frampton; grandson of Janet DeRosa; dear son-in- law of Barb (Darrin) Beconder and Jeffrey Bjorson; brother-in-law of Brein (Mike) Marzano, Barett (Cassandra) Bjorson, Gianna (Zachary) Struharik, and Nya Beconder.

Jack grew up in Vienna, Ohio on his parents horse farm. An avid rider, Jack spent many of his younger years training, riding and showing Arabian horses. This was a passion that he shared with his parents and siblings that would create years of beautiful memories from their times together in the barn to the many horse shows that would take them all over the country together.

Jack studied business at Ohio University and came home to Youngstown to finish his degree at Youngstown State and to begin working for his father at Michigan Industrial Hardwood. It was at YSU that he met Brooke Bjorson who he married on June 12, 1999. The two soon moved to Chicago where Jack continued to work for his father in the lumber industry for the next 10 years.

After the birth of their second son, Jack changed careers to follow a new path in the medical device industry taking them back to Ohio where Jack eventually started his own medical device company, American Medical Device.

Jack was driven by a desire for knowledge of all things. He loved challenge more than most and he paved his own way to his goals. If anyone told him something couldn’t be done he would make sure that he did it!

Everyone who ever had the pleasure of meeting Jack knows how he had the ability to connect on a personal level immediately. He knew a little about a lot of things and he always had a great story to tell. Jack always had the best gear and the best thing to say… even if it wasn’t always the most appropriate.

Jack loved the freedom he felt when he was enjoying the outdoors. Some of his greatest and wildest stories and most cherished memories were of times he had skiing or snowboarding throughout his life.

Jack had a deep connection and passion for Christ that could be seen in the way that he loved others, in his determination and confidence that he could do all things through Him and in the way that he sacrificed for those that he loved.

His happiest times were spent with his sons. Whether they were snowboarding down a mountain somewhere or just playing with one of his many gadgets/toys around the neighborhood. Jack’s energy and passion for life had him always on to the next adventure. His time on this Earth was cut short. Maybe because he simply lived a full life in much less time than it takes most. He is now on to the greatest adventure of all with the freedom his soul so yearned for.
