JAMES R. BRETT, age 81, of Chagrin Falls. Beloved husband of Donna (nee Poyck) for 63 years; loving father of Jim (Shelly), Diane (John III) Belak, Frank , and Sandy Braun; dearest grandfather of Mandy (David) Adkins, Lauren and Alex Brett, Christopher (Michelle) Luiz, Kara (Oren) Kaplan, Brian Luiz, Michael Belak, Patrick Brett, Alana Braun (fiancé Brad Ropke) and Natalie Braun; dear great grandfather of 8. James was a member of the Engineers Club and the following organizations, Elks, Moose and Eagles. He was a football coach in the CAA and KAA for 45 years. James and his wife, Donna, attended the Indianapolis 500 for 65 years. Friends received at the ST. JOHN FUNERAL HOME, 16381 CHILLICOTHE ROAD (RT 306), CHAGRIN FALLS, 44023 (2.5 MILES NORTH OF RT. 422), WEDNESDAY 4 – 8 P.M. where prayers will be held Thursday, August 17 at 10:15 A.M. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at Church of the Holy Angels, Bainbridge Twp. at 11 A.M. Burial Knollwood Cemetery, Mayfield Hts.
