James J. Ziak

JAMES J. ZIAK age 83 of Walton Hills died peacefully at his home.  Beloved husband of Patricia (nee Zahuranec) for 58 years; loving father of Theresa (former husband Charles) Szabo and late Barbara Ziak; dearest grandfather of Zachary and Chad; cherished brother of Mary Ann, late John “Jack,” and late Theresa. James was a graduate from Benedictine High School in the class of 1958.  He was a U.S. veteran of the Marine Corps and was an avid animal lover.  A special thanks goes out to Bill Christner and Erin Dziak for their devoted care to James. Also, a special thank you to Beverly Starr from Elara Caring Hospice.  Family and friends received at SAINT MARY CHURCH, 340 UNION STREET, BEDFORD, MONDAY, MARCH 25 from 10:30 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 P.M. Burial at All Saints Cemetery, Northfield.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN 38105 in memory of James.
