JANICE R. EDWARDS(nee Whittaker) age 85, of Solon passed away on January 6.  She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 64 years Hugh A. Edwards on January 3;  loving mother of William (Mark Fiorilli), Ann (David) Greisl, Joseph (Denise), Susan (Frank) Arsena, Hugh, Kevin (Jane) and Colleen (Tony) Valocchi; dearest grandmother of 16 and great grandmother “GG” of 10; dear sister of Jeanne Payne, Lois Strezzi, Thomas Robert, and James(all deceased).  Janice, known lovingly as “Tootsie” was small in stature but her strength was the foundation on which our family was built.  Her humble, unassuming nature and gentle heart engendered compassion and forgiveness in others.  Friends received at the ST.
