JOAN KALLOS (nee Farago) age 85 of Bedford teed off at the golf course in heaven on May 4, 2024. Joan was the beloved wife of the late John, loving mother of Deborah (William) Dougherty, David (Maureen), Donna (Sam) Santabarbara, and Diane Kallos; dearest grandmother of Nicole, Christine, and Jennifer Santabarbara; cherished sister of the late Leonard (Dana) Farago; dear aunt to Kathleen, Timothy, Patrick, Donald (Kathy) Takacs, Janice (Walter) Bahara, Linda (late Robert) Shivey, and Donna (Michael) Lappert; treasured sister-in-law to the late Irene Takacs Brzezinski.  Joan was born October 24, 1938, in Cleveland, Ohio to Mary and Andrew Farago.  She loved golfing, bowling, and baking with her children and grandchildren. Joan enjoyed attending concerts at Severance Hall and Blossom Music Center.  She was active in the Senior Centers of Bedford, Seven Hills, and had many special friends.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Cleveland Metroparks, Bedford Reservation, or Hospice of the Western Reserve in memory of Joan.  A casual Celebration of Life will be held Friday, May 10 at the Winking Lizard Event Center, 25200 Miles Road, Bedford Heights, OH 44146 from 3 P.M. – 7 P.M. All services are private.
