JOSEPH J. COLLURA, age 86 of Auburn Township. Beloved husband of Maria (nee Rossy) for 59 years; loving father of Joseph S., Maria E., and Peter F. (Emily); dearest grandfather of Lydia and Adam; dear brother of Donna (Anthony) Laurie. Loving uncle to many. Joseph was a graduate of Cleveland Heights High, John Carroll University, and obtained a Master’s Degree in Special Education from Case Western Reserve University. Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. Manager at CCBMR Sheltered Adult Workshop for special needs individuals at the Euclid Adult Training Center for 25 years. He loved his garden, especially the garlic patch. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. A devout Roman Catholic who shared his faith with others in a joyful way! Donation counting team St. Joan of Arc Church for 20 years. Member of Sunday Afternoon Rosary Group. Pro-Life Advocate. All services will be held at St. Joan of Arc Church, 496 E. Washington Street, Chagrin Falls, OH 44022 on Thursday, July 2 with a visitation from 10 A.M. – 11 A.M., Mass of Christian Burial at 11 A.M. Immediately followed by luncheon at the church hall. All are welcome. Then proceeding to burial at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to St. Andrew Abbey, 10510 Buckeye Rd, Cleveland, OH 44104 in memory of Joseph.
