Joseph C Gullo

Joseph C. Gullo, age 78, of Chagrin Falls, OH passed away on October 24, 2026. Joseph was the beloved husband, for 50 years, to Marilyn M. (nee Gamiero); loving father of Angela Gullo and Christina Strouse; adoring papa of Joey Trifiletti, Bella Trifiletti, Jak Strouse and Karson Strouse; dear brother of John Gullo (wife, Gale Canata), the late Anthony Gullo and the late Mario Gullo; uncle to many nieces and nephews. Joseph was born in Sicily, Italy and emigrated, with his family to the United States when he was 5 years old, where they settled in Garfield Hts., OH. He was a graduate of Benedictine High School and Cleveland State University. Joe worked at Progressive Insurance for 52 years. He loved the outdoors, walking, bonfires, and swimming laps at the Solon Recreation Center. Joe was extremely caring and generous. He never met a stranger, and his longtime friends were like family to him. Family and friends will be received at St. John Funeral Home, 16381 Chillicothe Road, Bainbridge Twp. OH, on Sunday, November 1 from 2 p.m. – 6 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joan of Arc Church, 496 E. Washington Street, Chagrin Falls, OH 44022 on Monday, November 2 at 10:30 A.M. (Please meet at church). Burial to follow at All Saints Cemetery, Northfield, OH.
