Joyce M. Whisenhunt

Joyce M. Whisenhunt (nee Eddy) age 96, of Bedford, OH, passed away on September 12, 2026. Beloved wife of the late David M. Whisenhunt; loving mother of Brenda (late Bob) Lesko, Glenda Herman, Linda (Bob) Collier, David L. (Connie) Whisenhunt, and Gary (Vicki) Whisenhunt; dearest grandmother of 10, great grandmother of 19, great-great grandmother of 14; dear sister of Bobby Eddy and Mary Usry, and the following deceased, Jack, Bill, Gail, Carol and Mike. Joyce loved all children and taught Sunday school from the time she was a young teenager and for many years after. She learned surgical nursing in Birmingham, Alabama and later became a Licensed Practical Nurse while working for a Bedford physician for more than 30 years. Joyce loved quilting, gardening, and cooking delicious meals for her family. The family will receive friends at the Bedford Church of the Nazarene, 365 Center Rd., Bedford, OH 44146 on Thursday, September 17 from 10:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M. with a funeral service at 11:00 A.M. followed by burial at Bedford Cemetery.
