June Ann Washko

June Ann Washko (nee Connors), age 95, of Hudson, OH, preceded in death in 2020 by her beloved husband of 64 years, Frank; loving mother of Jim (Margaret), Mary Kay (Shari), Jeanne (Victor) Fox, Bob (Paulette), Tom (Rita); dearest grandmother of 11 and great-grandmother of 3; sister of Janet Lennon, Carol Pero (deceased), Patricia Ridel, Daniel Connors; sister-in-law of Jane Young; and Aunt to many nieces and nephews; preceded in death by parents Robert and Margaret Connors, passed away on December 28th. June was born in Kent, OH, and graduated from Kent State University with a BA in Speech and English. She worked at WHK radio and a Cleveland advertising agency before meeting her husband at St. Wenceslaus Church (Maple Heights) Young People’s Group. June was a stay-at-home mom and very involved with St. Mary’s Church in Bedford as a member of the choir, the PTO, and the Ladies Guild. She and Frank later became involved in the choir at St. Mary’s in Hudson as well as the Lifelong Adult Ministry group. Relatives and friends are invited to MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL, FRIDAY, JAN. 2, 11 A.M. at ST. MARY CHURCH, 340 N. MAIN ST., HUDSON. Burial to follow at MARKILLIE CEMETERY, 410 N. MAIN ST, HUDSON. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Mary Church in Hudson’s Feed My Sheep Ministry.
