Kathleen Bravchok

Kathleen Bravchok (nee Forster) age 80, of Middlefield, passed away peacefully in the care of her amazing hospice nurses and staff at Windsor Heights Assisted Living and Memory Care. She was predeceased by her husband, Michael who passed away earlier in May of this year. After almost 60 years of marriage, their enduring love could not keep them apart for long.

Kathleen was the loving mother of Susan (Rick) Small of Connecticut, Christine (Lee) Kooser of Bainbridge Twp., Michael of Brunswick, Timothy (Deanna) of Burton; dearest grandmother of Sean and Dylan Small, Ryan and Andy Kooser, Brandon Bravchok, and Kayla (Jacob) Brent; dear sister of Patsy, Maureen (Mike), Carol (Bud) and Mary Lou; aunt and great aunt. She was nicknamed “Beebe” by family and her many friends. She deeply loved and cherished her lifelong friends from earlier school days whose unconditional love continued to support her through her years with dementia.

Kathleen loved life; she was a non-stop ball of energy; a stubborn Irish gal that just did not ever stop moving! After many years of odd jobs when raising her children, she pursued her dream of a nursing degree. She worked briefly as a school nurse, then at Metzenbaum Care facility for adults with Intellectual Disabilities; a job and its residents that she truly loved and took great pride in. Some of her favorite hobbies were participating in the local church bell choir, soup kitchens, and ALWAYS non-stop baking or cooking for someone. She was an avid gardener and spent many, many hours making their cabin home an amazing showcase of her many talents.

Friends and Family received at the ST. JOHN FUNERAL HOME, 16381 CHILLICOTHE RD. (RT 306), CHAGRIN FALLS, 44023 (2.5 MILES NORTH OF RT. 422), SATURDAY, DECEMBER 3 FROM 9 – 11 A.M. with a closing service at 11 A.M.  Burial to follow at Restland Cemetery, 17751 Chillicothe Rd., (RT 306) Bainbridge Twp.
