Leona "Lee" Powers

Leona “Lee” Powers, age 90, passed away on May 2, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Leona was preceded in death by her husband Leonard; son Mark; grandson Robert John Vale II; and sister Lucille Brick. She is survived by her daughters Donna Lanza (Ben), Lisa Virost (Lou), and Karen Beck; her grandchildren Melissa Hagy (Ryan), Lindsay Weeman (Bill), Daniel Virost (Rhizlane), Steven Virost (AnnMarie), Lauren Schmidt (Nick), and Nick Beck; great-grandchildren Abree, Caleb, Bryson, Andrew, Alexander, Mason, and Ava; and her sister Rose Marie Schroeder.

The Catholic faith was a very important part of Lee’s life and she instilled this faith in her children. She thought of others more than herself and she was the backbone of the family. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren lit up her life.

Family and friends are welcome on Wednesday May 7, 2025 from 4pm-7pm at St. John Funeral Home, 16381 Chillicothe Road, Chagrin Falls, OH 44023. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday May 8, 2025 10am at The Church of the Holy Angels, 18205 Chillicothe Road, Chagrin Falls, OH 44023. (Please Meet at Church). Burial All Souls Cemetery, Chardon Ohio.
