Visitation, September 30, at Valley Presbyterian Church, 17560 Chillicothe Rd., Bainbridge Twp., from 11 A.M. – 12 Noon where services will be held at 12 Noon.

LINDA SUE ROONEY (nee Gadd), age 71, of Chagrin Falls passed away Saturday evening, September 23, 2017. Beloved wife of Thomas L. Rooney for 50 years; loving mother of sons, Thomas V. (Samantha) and Mark L. Rooney, and daughter, Shawn L. Rooney; dearest grandmother of Thomas J. and Addison M. Rooney; cherished daughter of the late John and Reecie Gadd; dear sister of John, Donnie and Alvie and the following deceased, Mildred, Bert, Clyde, Egbert, Wanda, Blaine and Opal. Sue was born in Warren, OH and graduated from Niles McKinley High School in 1965. She met her future husband, Tom, while working as a cashier in Warren and they were married in October of 1966. Sue and Tom then moved to West Bloomfield, MI where they taught Sunday school at Orchard Lake Presbyterian Church. Sue and Tom were transferred to the Chicago area for several years where Sue worked at the Algonquin Bank before they moved to the Cleveland area in 1991. Sue was a good card player, enjoyed cooking and gardening, but really looked forward to attending various arts and craft shows. She loved birds, animals and never met a stranger. CREMATION. Friends are invited to VALLEY PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, 17560 Chillicothe Rd., Bainbridge Twp. on Saturday, September 30 from 11:00 A.M – 12 NOON where services will be held at 12 noon.
