Lois J. Coyle

Lois J. Coyle (nee Schlote), 84, passed away on October 9, 2025. She was the beloved wife for 64 years of the late William J. “Doc” Coyle. Lois was the loving mother of John (Linda), Patty Bailey (Jerry), and Bob (Cheryl); devoted grandmother of Eric Strohmeier, Jeff Coyle, Julie Kyker (Scott), Greg Coyle, Danielle Coyle and Marissa Coyle; and great grandmother of Kate and Emma Kyker. Lois was raised in Maple Heights, daughter of the late Raymond and Agnes Schlote. She was the dearest sister to the late Robert (Joan) and Diane (Richard, deceased). Doc and Lois made their home in Bedford Heights for many years. Lois had a kind, gentle and caring nature. Her greatest joy was being with her family. She loved to read and grew to love watching baseball with Doc. The family would like to thank Regina Health Center in Richfield, Light of Hearts Villa in Bedford and Holy Family Hospice in Parma for their care and compassion in taking care of both Lois and Doc. No flowers please. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Lois J. Coyle to Secondhand Mutts, 2603 Scranton Road, Cleveland, OH 44113. Private family services to be held.
