MARY C. SIGMUND (nee Klucho), age 94, formerly of Solon.  Beloved wife of the late Rudolph for 71 years; loving mother of R.J. (Sandie), Bill (Claudia), Marge, and Jim (Terri);  dearest grandmother of Barrett, Dann, Cara, Mark, Ben, Michael, and Kelly; dear great grandmother of Kylie, Brynlee and Concetta; loving sister to Agnes Gecik, Claire Jubak, Joe Klucho and the following deceased:  Ann Krupka, Mildred Polak and Cecilia O’Keefe.  Mary loved tending the flowers in her yard, preparing the vegetables from Rudy’s garden, and making her famous apple pie for family and friends.   Mary was proud of her Slovak heritage, and was a patriotic American.  She always greeted visitors with a “God Bless America”!   MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL, THURSDAY, MAY 23 AT 10:00 A.M. AT THE CHURCH OF ST. ANSELM, 12969 CHILLICOTHE RD., CHESTERLAND.   Private burial at All Souls Cemetery, Chardon.  Mary was dedicated to her namesake, Mary, the Mother of Jesus.  Devotion to the Blessed Mary was the cornerstone of her faith. Even as her health began to fail, she never missed the weekly rosary at the nursing home.   In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Our Lady of Lourdes Shrine in Euclid or the Nursing Home Outreach Ministries of Our Lady of Perpetual Help of Aurora or St. Rita Church of Solon in memory of Mary C.
