Mary Jane Backo (nee Zembiak), age 81, of Bedford, entered into the hands of God on Friday, June 5, 2020. Beloved wife of the late Joseph; loving mother of Joseph Jr., Richard (late Chris), Kim (Brian) Navratil, and Michael (Kara); dear grandmother of Joshua (Alisha), Jeremy (Shana), Leah, Noelle (Jacob) Navratil, Collin Navratil, Savanna and McKenna; sister of John (Kathy) Zembiak and late Daniel (late Beth) Zembiak; loving aunt to many. Jane was an active member of Bedford Seniors and Bedford Garden Club. Jane’s (Janie’s) family would love to have her remembered for her everlasting love for her husband Joe (Poppy), love of her grandchildren, gardening, art and always seeing the beauty in the outdoors. Jane loved her hikes with her family in the Metroparks, beachcombing and tending to her garden. Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial, Saturday, August 1 at 10 a.m., at St Martin of Tours Church, Maple Hts.
