MICHAEL J. LUCAK, age 80, formerly of Aurora, OH, passed away on April 12, 2021, in Harlingen, TX.  He was the husband of Kathryn T. Lucak (nee Juriga) for 58 years.  Born in Cleveland, OH, on January 19, 1941, Mike was the son of Josephine Hardulak.  He graduated from John Adams High School.  Mike worked at Cast Specialties; starting in the foundry and working his way up in the company to retire as President.  In his retirement, he moved to the warm tropical climate of Harlingen, TX, where he enjoyed life outdoors; taking trips to the coast, Mexico and golfing as often as possible!  He will be remembered for his steadfast work ethic, love of travel, fishing, cooking and his unquenchable zest for life! He thoroughly enjoyed spoiling his grandkids!  He will be missed by many.  He is survived by his wife, Kathryn; children, Greg (Patty), Patricia (Adrian) Vagnoni, Suzanne, Kathy (Craig) Glynn, Gary, and Michelle Statham; adoring “Papa” to Karen, Ryan, Isabella, Tyler, Sydney, Rebecca, Tyler and Chase.  A graveside service will be held Friday, April 23, 2021 at 1:15 p.m. at the Aurora Cemetery, SR 43, next to the Aurora Police Department (100 South Aurora Road).  (St. John Funeral Home of Bainbridge Twp., 440-708-1855)
