Nancy T. Pyle

Nancy T. Pyle, 83, went to be with her Lord on Monday, June 13, 2022. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Ed Pyle, three children, Ellen Jeannine, Alan Edward and Thomas Benjamin, five grandchildren, Abigail Grace, Alexander Edward, Jacob Robert, Luke Thomas and Jenna Elizabeth, her nephew Rick Hummel and dearest friend of 76 years Helen Slattery Marshall. She was preceded in death by her father and mother Richard and Wava Thomas, her sister Jean and brother in-law Benjamin Hummel.   Nancy was  a career home-maker but always found time to pursue her teaching career. She loved to teach third grade. She received her degree at Clarion University and earned her Masters of Education at the Penn State University, State College, Pa. Nancy loved to travel and particularly enjoyed having her grandson Luke come into her house and play old time songs for hours on the piano.  Burial will be held privately with family members. A Tribute and Memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 11 a.m. in the Greenville Church of the Brethren, 3995 Greenville Pike, Bloom Township, Grampian, Pa. 16838. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
