Navonna "Mona" Wurl

Born October 2, 1925, in Chicago, Illinois, Navonna Rose Wurl (nee Bergemann), known as "Mona,” age 99, of Chagrin Falls and Twinsburg, Ohio, formerly of Wonder Lake and Des Plaines, Illinois, passed away peacefully at home on May 12, 2025, preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Melton "Mel" Wurl; loving mother of Patricia "Trisch" Richmond, Keith (Janis) Wurl, and Beth (Christopher) Valerian; cherished grandmother of Leslie (John) Emrich, Jeff Wurl, Brittany (Joseph) Dursi, Elizabeth (Cliff) Waters, CJ Valerian, and Dominic Valerian; great-grandmother of Jonathan Emrich, Benjamin Emrich, Jessica Emrich, Claire Dursi, Jon Cody Waters II, William Dursi, and Wesley Waters. Fond sister of the late Arthur (Shirley) Bergemann, Jr. and the late Lorraine Jacobe. A celebration of life is being planned for early October.
