Raymond S. Telling

RAYMOND S. TELLING, age 88 of Parma passed away on June 24, 2025. Loving father of Richard (Maryan) Telling and Brian (Susie) Telling; dearest grandfather of Jessica (Rob) Cannell and Nadine Simko; dear great-grandfather of Logan and Kasey; cherished son of the late Lafayette and Sophie Telling; treasured brother of the late Truman Telling, David Telling, and Darlene Telling. Ray served in the U.S. Army from 1955-1958 and was stationed in Germany. Ray retired from SK Wellman after 33 years where he was employed as a Quality Supervisor and an R&D Lab Supervisor. He spent his retirement years telling jokes, bowling, golfing, dancing and driving around in his blue Mustang. Ray was an enthusiastic and avid Cleveland sports fan. He liked to give you the play by play of a game and was always willing to let you know the stats of a game. Ray loved spending time with his family and friends. Ray has left the building. Friends and family will be received at St. John Funeral Home, 923 Broadway Ave, Bedford, OH 44146 on Wednesday, July 2 from 4 P.M. – 7 P.M. with a funeral service on July 3 at 10 A.M. Burial to follow at All Saints Cemetery, 480 W Highland Rd, Northfield, OH 44067.
