Richard B. Smith

Richard B. Smith, age 96, passed away on October 1, 2025. He was born in Canton, Ohio and was a long-time resident of Northfield, Ohio. Richard graduated from Case University and worked as a metallurgist. He was a member of the Case Western Reserve Athletic Association and enjoyed playing golf, skiing, and spending time with his family.

Richard is survived by his wife Rosanne; children Rand Smith, Lynn Dorsey (John), and Tracy Lorraine McClennon (David); grandchildren Rachel Gromby (Jon) and Garrett; and great-grandson Carson Christopher Gromby.

Family and friends are welcome on Wednesday October 15, 2025 from 11am-12 Noon at The United Methodist Church of Macedonia, 1280 East Aurora Road, Macedonia OH 44056, where Funeral Service will be held at 12 Noon. Burial Nesbett Cemetery, Grafton OH on Thursday October 16, 2025 at 10am (Please Meet at Cemetery).
