Rita A. Flask

Rita A. Flask, age 95, passed away peacefully at MetroHealth Medical Center on Monday, May 20, 2024. She was a long-time resident of Bedford, Ohio and retired as a postal clerk from the Bedford Post Office. She was also a former owner of Bedford’s Glendale Sweet Shop and a long-time volunteer for Bedford Public Square events.

Rita was preceded in death by her husband Martin L. Flask; and her sons William A. (Brenda) and John A. (Mary Kay). She is survived by her son Martin L. Flask (Eloise); and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. 

Family and friends are welcome on Tuesday May 28, 2024 from 5-8pm at St. John Funeral Home, 923 Broadway Avenue, Bedford, Ohio, and on Wednesday May 29, 2024 from 9-10am at Light of Hearts Villa, 283 Union Street, Bedford, Ohio, where Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am. Interment Crown Hill Cemetery, Twinsburg, Ohio to follow.
