Robert J Hornyak

ROBERT J. HORNYAK, age 92 of Hiram, passed away on September 14, 2025. Beloved husband of Marlene (nee Sovol); loving father of Robert and Michael; dear brother of the following deceased Marie Torma, Marjorie Cashen and Edward Hornyak. In later years, Bob enjoyed working for the Garrettsville and Warren libraries. He excelled in architectural development of public buildings and private homes. He was a member of the Hungarian Cultural Center in Hiram. CREMATION. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 20 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 11045 Saint Joseph Blvd, Mantua, OH 44255 at 11 A.M. Friends and family will be received from 10 A.M. until time of mass. Burial of cremains will follow at West Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions to the St. Joseph Parish Garden Club in memory of Bob.
