Rudolph “Rudy” Lavrenchik Jr., age 93 of Brunswick Hills, OH. Beloved husband of the late Marilyn (nee Londre); loving father of Susan Hilfer, James (deceased), David, Jeff (Devlyn) and Michael; dearest grandfather of Kurt Hilfer, Molly (John) Kelsey and Rudolph Lavrenchik; great grandfather of Harper Kelsey; cherished son of the late Rudolph and Mary (nee Hruska) Lavrenchik; dear brother of the late Nancy (late Ronald) Barto and Barbara Manzo (Frank Luchowski). Veteran, U.S. Navy. Graduate of Benedictine High School. Member of Knights of Columbus. Rudy had a passion for gardening and loved the outdoors, fishing and camping, working on cars and investment trading in the stock market. He lived his career as a professional electrical-mechanical designer. Friends may join the family for visitation on Wednesday, June 10 from 4 P.M. – 7 P.M. at Carlson Funeral Home, 3477 Medina Rd., Medina, OH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Ambrose Church, 929 Pearl Rd., Brunswick, OH on Thursday, June 11 at 10 A.M. (Please meet at church). Burial to follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Seville, OH. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to Benedictine High School or ARF (Berea Animal Rescue) or Holy Martyrs Church in Medina in memory of Rudy.
