RUDOLPH W. SIGMUND, age 95, formerly of Solon. Beloved husband of Mary C. Sigmund for 70 years; loving father of R.J. (Sandie), Bill (Claudia), Marge Hrusch, and Jim (Terri); dearest grandfather of Barrett, Dann, Cara, Mark, Ben, Michael, and Kelly; dear great grandfather of Kylie, Brynlee and Concetta. Rudy was an avid gardener who loved to share his produce with friends and family. He was a skilled handyman, and was always ready to help anyone in need. He was proud Army veteran, who served his country in the South Pacific of World War II. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL, FRIDAY, JANUARY 19 AT 11 A.M. AT OUR LADY OF PERPETUAL HELP CHURCH, 342 S. CHILLICOTHE RD., AURORA. Family will receive relatives and friends at church from 10 a.m. until time of Mass. Interment of cremains will be private at All Souls Cemetery, Chardon. Rudy’s Catholic faith was the cornerstone by which he built his life. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the parish churches he supported: St. Rita’s of Solon, and Our Lady of Perpetual Help of Aurora, in memory of Rudolph W. Sigmund. (ST.
