Sandra (Sandy) M. Weil, born May 8, 1962, in Pittsburgh, PA, passed away on September 4, 2025, at the age of 63. Sandy courageously relied upon her unwavering faith and God-given determination to gracefully endure ovarian cancer for nearly 4 years. She was the dear daughter of the late George and Eleanor (Urda) Debski of Bethel Park, PA. For 37 years, she was the beloved wife of William Weil who was the love of her life, and the loving and cherished mother of Emmett Weil and Maria (Mark) Bereck. She was the sister of George R. Debski and Sharon (Matthew) Stalder and sister-in-law of Lori and Bill Hogan. Sandy had many nieces and nephews who she loved dearly: Allison (Tommy) Emmet, Daniel, Caroline and the late Elaine Hogan, Benjamin, Abigail and the late Mary Grace Stalder.

Sandy was a graduate of Bethel Park High School and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She has been an active member of The Church of the Holy Angels Parish for 23 years serving in various capacities including lector, Eucharistic Minister, and Bible Study leader. She was also a dedicated volunteer for Faith and Real Life/LMB Ministries.

Sandy’s Catholic faith was a central part of her daily life. Each day was undertaken with purpose and with support and prayers for those in need. She celebrated mass daily receiving the Eucharist whenever possible. She had gratitude for the gift of God’s grace and all of the gifts He had given to her and the family she adored. Her faith-filled life was an inspiration to many as she dedicated herself to being a humble disciple of Jesus Christ focused on others. She felt sorrow for the less fortunate and had deep gratitude for those who helped her during her time of need. Making connections with others and sharing her faith with friends and family brought her much enjoyment.

She was a devoted mother to her loving children who brought her endless joy. She never missed a sporting event, play, school event or opportunity to cheer them on. Sandy was a loving, supportive wife who was fully committed to her marriage to Bill. She will be remembered for her love of God, family and friends and for her enthusiasm for the Pittsburgh Steelers, golf tournaments, cross country races, March Madness and long, fast-paced walks.
