Suzanne Wrobel

Suzanne Wrobel (nee Stefanek), age 76, passed away on February 6, 2026, peacefully with her family at her side. Sue was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to so many. She was born in Cleveland, and it became her lifelong home as she graduated from Beaumont School in 1967 and then from Ursuline College in 1971. She married her true love, Edward Wrobel, in 1971, and they created a life together for the next 54 years.

Sue was a vibrant, charismatic, and dynamic woman. She loved her family and friends deeply, and her favorite place to be was in her kitchen, surrounded by her cookbook collection, making a delicious meal for a full table of guests. Sue was an avid reader, gardener, and master of Scrabble and the Wordle, which she played with her grandchildren. Most of all, Sue loved to laugh and talk, her vocabulary was both extensive and colorful, and her wit and sense of humor were her greatest gifts.

Sue is survived by her husband, Edward, and her children, Amanda Sundt (Dan), Bevin Skoglund, and John Wrobel (Kristina); her beloved grandchildren, Peter, Harry and Brynn Skoglund, Danny and Amelia Sundt, and Sydney and Sloan Wrobel, as well as her most cherished sisters, brother, and brothers-in-law, Mary Ellen Silver (Gary, deceased), Deborah Gitlin (Alan, deceased), Christopher Stefanek (Maggie), Gladys Santoli (David), Megan Barr (Colin), her first cousin Alice Sutton (Steve) as well as numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Alice Stefanek, and her in-laws, Edward and Edythe Wrobel.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Andrew Abbey, Benedictine Order of Cleveland, 2900 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Cleveland, OH 44104 on Saturday, February 21 at 10:00 A.M. Interment to take place at a later date.
