THOMAS E. BULANDA, died unexpectedly on April 17, 2018. Loving husband of Marilyn (nee Zielke); beloved father of Sean (Julia) and Brigette (John) Kassay; cherished grandpa “Papa” of Isabella and Sophia Kassay, Kaitlyn Bunch and Mike Dominguez; brother of Ronald (Barbara) Bulanda, Elaine Krajewski (deceased), Richard Bulanda ( deceased) and Brian Zielke; honorary “Twin Brother” of Bob Winn. USMC (Retired), Vietnam Veteran, recipient of the Bronze Star and Purple Heart. Dedicated member of the Solon VFW Post 1863 serving as Commander, Quartermaster and Senior Vice. Honor Flight Cleveland. Eagle Scout, Boy Scout Leader of Troops 406 & 102. Past President SVCA. Active member of Valley Presb. Church , Elder, Stephen Minister, Lay Preacher, teacher of Bethel and Kerygma. Certified instructor of CPR, Hunter Safety and Concealed Carry classes. Avid golfer. Tom’s life challenges us to be better human beings, to help whenever and wherever the need exists. Memorial service will be held at the Valley Presbyterian Church, 17560 Chillicothe Rd., Chagrin Falls, OH 44023 on Saturday, May 5 at 12 p.m. Luncheon to follow at the Solon VFW Post 1863, 6340 Melbury Ave., Solon, OH 44139.
