Virginia Rose Jarvis

VIRGINIA “GINNY” ROSE JARVIS (nee Carl), age 81 of Winter Haven, Florida and formerly of Bedford, Ohio. Beloved wife of Larry Jarvis; loving mother of Lori Smith (Rick Phillips) and Michael Sims, and stepmother of James (Michelle) Jarvis, Rachel Jarvis, and Michael (Crystal) Jarvis; dearest grandmother of Brandi Smith, Stephen (Lindsay) Jarvis, and Anthony (Amanda) Jarvis; dear great grandmother of 3; sister of Diane Carl; aunt to many nieces and nephews. Ginny was a police dispatcher for the Walton Hills and Oakwood Village Police Departments. She loved going on cruises and was a great homemaker. Ginny and Larry were snowbirds in Florida and eventually bought a house in Winter Haven, Florida. Friends and family received at ST. JOHN FUNERAL HOME, 923 BROADWAY AVE, BEDFORD (ONE MILE WEST OF THE FORBES-BROADWAY EXIT I-271), SUNDAY, DECEMBER 1 FROM 1 P.M. – 5 P.M. with a service on Monday, December 2 at 10 A.M. Burial to follow at Bedford Cemetery. Although flowers are appreciated, the family suggests donations to The Humane Society of your choice.
