WILSON SIMS, aka “Cotton” and “Willie” age 87 of Sagamore Hills, formerly of Maple Heights and Bedford, passed away on October 8, 2026, surrounded by family. Beloved lifetime partner of Margaret Burke for 52 years; treasured son of late Wilson Sims Sr and late Thelma Jones; loving father of Lori Smith (Rick Phillips) and Michael Sims; cherished brother of late Howard, late John, late James, late Ruth (David) Bowien, Bonnie Johnson, Ronnie Jones, (late Becky), Albert (Lori) Jones; dearest grandfather of Brandi Smith, and many extended children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren; dear uncle to many nieces and nephews. U.S. Marine Corps veteran. Wilson was a lifelong truck driver for numerous companies. Friends and family are welcome to St. John Funeral Home, 923 Broadway Ave, Bedford, OH 44146 on Tuesday, October 20 from 4 P.M. – 7 P.M. with a funeral service on Wednesday, October 21 at 11 A.M. Interment to follow at All Saints Cemetery.
